I am Lauren, the owner and founder of Groundings. From a very young age I remember finding pebbles along the beach. When I picked them up they instantly brought me joy. Since then I’ve been working with the different energies of gemstones and minerals. Cultivating them to help myself and others along this journey of life.
In 2004 I created my Jewelry business called Snail Trail Creations. Snail Trail Creations infused the healing properties of the crystals into jewelry, so you were able to harness these magical energies during your everyday life. By 2010 my jewelry was in 7 different small shops around Western MA, along with a hidden gemstone candle line that I developed that year.
In 2013 I was approached by one of these shops by the owner who told me they were moving in a different direction on their path and if I would be interested in taking over their small business. I was very excited but was also unsure. Well the universe has a funny way of pushing you in the right direction. I was driving my car In Northampton when someone smashed into me at a red light. I was fine, my poor car was completely totaled. The amount that I received from the accident was the same amount needed to take over the business. I thought if this isn’t a sign I don’t know what one is. So I took the leap of faith and I’m so happy I did!
